Canvas Resume ("we", "our", "this website", canvasresume.com) is designed to be privacy-first. This policy explains what information is and is not processed when you use the site.

1. Your resume data stays on your device

Everything you type into the Resume Builder, Cover Letter Builder, Profile Creator or ATS Checker — including your name, contact details, work history and profile photo — is processed entirely inside your web browser and stored only in your browser's local storage so your work isn't lost when you return. This data is never uploaded to, or stored on, our servers. Clearing your browser data deletes it permanently.

2. Information we may collect

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand overall traffic. We do not sell personal information.

3. Advertising

We may display advertisements served by third-party ad networks (for example Google AdSense). These networks may use cookies or similar technologies to show relevant ads and measure performance.
